This introductory page contains links to other pages concerned
with various subjects, the family name ,
Pegasus Mail and other matters.
I have tried to design the pages so that
they may be viewed on any of the popular browsers - Internet Explorer (version 5.5
and above) and Mozilla. Netscape versions 4.6 and below don't follow all HTML
standards so the pages may not render exactly as intended.
Is your family name Glover? If so,
you may be interested in some of the things I have found out.
Pegasus Mail - One of the best Email Clients
This page, which links to others, describes Pegasus Mail for Windows 3.1/95/NT4.
Also discussed are POPULIST (downloadable), a Pegasus Mail "addon" which is very useful for deleting spam on the host server, and other addons.
A link is provided to other pages describing how to write addons (more properly called Pegasus Mail Extensions) using Borland Pascal For Windows, Delphi 1 and Delphi 2. You may download files representing specimen addons (Extensions), complete with source code.
Another link takes you to a page showing how to set up a DOS-only computer (eg an old 80286 machine) to compose, send, receive and read email using Pegasus Mail For DOS. The system is efficient and all the software needed for dialling your ISP and loading up a DOS-based TCP/IP stack is readily obtainable and is freeware.
Digital Camera imagesThese pages discuss procedures for managing the digital image files downloaded from digital cameras or scanned from photos. Topics such as desirable formats for the files, renumbering batches of files - including a downloadable computer program which makes this job a breeze. Another page discusses "slideshows" and how to assemble sets of slide files from your collection and display them in sequence using Irfanview. and a separate downloadable program.
